Karen Baicker

Karen Baicker is the Publisher for Family and Community Engagement (FACE) at Scholastic. She develops innovative programs and services that reach communities most in need. Previously, Karen served as the Director of Community Affairs and was also Editorial Director of Professional Development for Scholastic Education. Karen is the author of children’s picture books including Tumble Me Tumbily, Pea Pod Babies, and I Can Do It Too! She has also written over a dozen books for teachers on a range of topics including Origami, Math, and Teaching with Primary Sources.
