L. Divine
Biography
L. Divine is an educator and award‑winning novelist, author of the YA series Drama High and the Keke McCoy Mysteries. A former teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District, she holds an M.A. from UCLA in African American Studies and Educational Psychology and earned a Visiting Scholar fellowship at UCLA’s Center for the Study of Women. Her work has been praised by Publishers Weekly, Kirkus, Essence, Ebony and more.
