Biography
Born in 1923 in Madisonville, Louisiana, Leah Chase (Jan 6, 1923 – Jun 1, 2019) would marry into the Chase restaurant family in nearby New Orleans, but that small geographic move would end up taking her worlds away to become a national-award-winning cook and civic figure.
