M. J. Simms-Maddox
Biography
M. J. Simms-Maddox is a native of Clio, South Carolina. She grew up in the Snowbelt of western New York, earned her Ph.D. from The Ohio State University, served as a legislative aide in the Ohio Senate, operated a PR firm, and — apart from her writing — has still found time to teach political science, all of which — along with her international travels — play prominently in her novels.
She found her passion for writing fiction somewhat late in life and has been writing ever since. The Priscilla Trilogy is her debut.
