Mark Whitaker
Biography
Mark Whitaker (born September 7, 1957) worked for 30 years at Newsweek, rising to become the magazine’s top editor. After that, he spent five years in television news, as Washington bureau chief for NBC and Managing Editor of CNN. Since then, he has been writing books and contributing stories to CBS Sunday Morning. He also serves on the jury for the Peabody Awards and is an avid cook, golfer and jazz fan.
