Parker-Nia Gordon

Parker-Nia Gordon grew up in the musical city of Memphis, Tennessee, home of rhythm and blues. She earned her BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design before returning to Memphis, where she spent three years teaching visual arts to elementary school students. Gordon is also the illustrator of Daddy and Me and the Rhyme to Be, written by Chris Bridges (Ludacris) and Halcyon Pearson.
