Ravi Coltrane
Biography
Ravi Coltrane is an acclaimed saxophonist, bandleader, and composer. The son of jazz icons John Coltrane and Alice Coltrane, he has forged his own path in contemporary jazz, releasing albums such as Moving Pictures, In Flux, and Spirit Fiction. Born in Long Island, New York, and raised in Los Angeles, Ravi has collaborated with jazz greats including Elvin Jones, McCoy Tyner, and Jack DeJohnette, and leads ensembles that honor his heritage while exploring new sonic frontiers.
