Rose McGee

Rose McGee, founder of “Sweet Potato Comfort Pie,” travels across the United States to deliver pies and nurture relationships. After George Floyd’s murder in 2020, her caring community pie baking and delivery gained recognition from NBC Nightly News, The Lily, Reader’s Digest, and Guideposts, and she was featured in the 2015 PBS documentary A Few Good Pie Places. McGee resides in Golden Valley, Minnesota, where she was named “Citizen of the Year” in 2017.
