Sarah Dass is a Trinidadian author of young adult and romantic fiction. Her debut novel Where the Rhythm Takes You (2021) reimagines Jane Austen’s Persuasion set against the lush backdrop of Tobago and was selected for Reese’s Book Club YA Pick. Dass followed with the rom–coms When the Vibe Is Right and It Waits in the Forest. Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, she brings Caribbean warmth, culture, and humor to her contemporary stories.
