W. Ralph Eubanks
Biography
W. Ralph Eubanks is the author of the critically acclaimed memoir Ever Is a Long Time: A Journey Into Mississippi’s Dark Past and The House at the End of the Road: The Story of Three Generations of an Interracial Family in the American South. He is the former editor of the Virginia Quarterly Review and the former director of publishing at the Library of Congress.
A 2007 Guggenheim Fellow, he is the Eudora Welty Visiting Scholar in Southern Studies at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, for the Spring 2016 semester. Learn more at Eubanks’ official website
