Winnie Harlow (born Chantelle Whitney Brown-Young in July 27, 1994) is a Canadian fashion model, actress, entrepreneur, and advocate best known for challenging conventional beauty standards and increasing public awareness of vitiligo, a skin condition that causes the loss of pigmentation. Born Chantelle Whitney Brown-Young, Harlow first gained international attention as a contestant on the 21st season of America’s Next Top Model in 2014.
Since then, she has built a groundbreaking career in fashion and entertainment. Harlow appeared in BeyoncĂ©’s acclaimed visual album Lemonade and made history in 2018 as the first model with vitiligo to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. That same year, she was recognized as one of the BBC’s 100 Women, honoring her influence and impact around the world.
