Angie is best known for her bestselling book, Path to Peace, A Guide to Managing Life After Losing a Loved One, which she published in 2015. The book chronicles her journey of finding peace after the sudden and devastating loss of her father and also serves as and a tool in educating readers on the importance of preparing their families for “the inevitable.”

Angie is a wife of 25+ years and mother of two grown sons. When she is not traveling around the country attending book events, she works as a full-time Vice President and Project Manager for a renowned bank. She holds a BA in Journalism, an MBA in Project Management and serves on the Board of Directors for the University of North Texas (UNT) Alumni Association, is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a chartering member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NCBW, Dallas Chapter).
