Danny Simmons
Daniel “Danny” Simmons, a renowned painter of abstract-expressionist oil works which can be seen all over the world and in such prominent establishments as Chase Manhattan Bank, The Smithsonian, the United Nations and more. His work is highly respected within the art world and he has become extremely collectible; devoted fans of his work include music industry executive and producer Lyor Cohen and actor Will Smith.
Simmons is the owner of both the Rush Gallery in Chelsea, NY and the
Corridor Gallery in Brooklyn, that exhibit the works and projects from less
conventional and under represented artists. Committed to supporting and
perpetuating a genuine appreciation for the arts, Danny Simmons founded the
Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, along with his brothers; entrepreneur,
Russell
Simmons and
Run DMC s Joseph (Rev. Run) Simmons.
