Dina C. Tate

Dina C. Tate is the founder of Global Girls Squad based in New York City. Global Girls Squad creates, publishes and promotes chapter books for young girls of color. We also seek to empower young girls to learn about the world, exploring other cultures while celebrating and appreciating being different through books, technology, and educational forums. The flagship product is the chapter book series Lizzie and McKenzie’s Fabulous Adventures.

As Adjunct Faculty at NYU School of Professional Studies she provides instruction in various courses within the Integrated Marketing Program. In 2015 she was the recipient of the Andrea Davis Pinkney Chapter Book Writing Scholarship The Chapter Book Alchemist - Children’s Book Academy.

Tate lives in Brooklyn, New York.
