London Valen

London Valen is the pen name of a Black professional with more than a decade of experience in emergency medicine, special victims cases, military affairs, federal criminal justice, and appeals. This experience forms the backbone of The Price of a Rose.

Valen wrote the book to educate, enlighten, and inspire readers to act, rather than to seek personal fame or recognition.

At its heart, The Price of a Rose centers on Rose and the real-world issues she navigates, keeping the focus on her story rather than the author.
