Marlon McKenney is an author, illustrator, and Creative Director based in San Francisco, California. With decades of experience in animation and advertising, Marlon’s personal mission is creating Black Children’s picture books that inspire and empower. In 2016, Marlon founded Conscious Culture Publishing which specializes in publishing African Historical Fiction and Diverse-Multicultural Stories for children and adults.
