Rachel Vassel

Rachel Vassel worked in corporate America for 14 years before writing Daughters of Men. She held various positions in advertising and sales for The Weather Channel, Music Choice, and Young & Rubicam.

Vassel graduated from Syracuse University with a dual degree in marketing and public relations from the Whitman School of Management and S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

She is currently an adjunct professor at Syracuse University with their Communications@Syracuse online master’s degree program in their Newhouse School. She is also Syracuse's assistant vice president of program development in the Division of Advancement and External Affairs.
