Rio Cortez
Rio Cortez is a talented writer and Pushcart-nominated poet with a background in various literary foundations. She has been recognized with fellowships from organizations such as Poet's House, Cave Canem, and CantoMundo. Her literary work has been featured in prestigious publications like the Los Angeles Review of Books, The New Yorker, and Prairie Schooner, among others. Rio currently resides in Harlem, where she not only writes but also works as a bookseller and buyer for the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.
