Daylee and Dorienn Montgomery are two well-kept sisters who couldn’t be any closer, or so they thought. When an unexpected tragedy turns their lives upside down, the sisters are left with literally nothing but each other. Older and more outgoing, Dorienn attempts to step up to the plate and make a way for her sister, but when her temper fails her, it is the quiet and more introverted sister Daylee who manages to keep them off of the streets, to an extent.

Finding shelter in a less-than-suburban neighborhood turns out to be a game changer when both sisters seemingly meet their dream guys. Champion’s take-charge attitude and “long paper” are enough to woo party girl Dorienn, while Lenox embodies the right amount of a hustler and a gentleman to catch the attention of shy, innocent Daylee.
