Maxx mentors other parents to help guide them to have a better co-parenting experience so their kids can have a chance to have both parents in their lives. “After I lost my job, car, and house within a matter of 10 months, I found myself having baby daddy drama of my own while trying to get back on my feet, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially!

Then in 2012, my daughter and I became homeless for three months living in and out of an overdue car rental and motels with our dog, Maya. However, I did not allow my living circumstances hold me back so I created a Workshop for Single Parents while sitting in the car one day. That experience allowed me to teach my daughter a valuable and ‘costly’ lesson that you have to be responsible when it comes to money and don’t focus on what you don’t have or else you’ll never be able to move yourself out of a sticky situation.”
