Unstable

An award-winning writer decides to call it quits. Many of us have heard this story before, but not in the way author Carol Denise does it in her new book, Unstable.

When homeless hit, I knew I could deal with it easily, until weeks turned into months, then, months turned into years, until not having a place to rest my head became chronic. Aggravation with rising rents, pest control issues, family, and kids, made me want to end my life. I am telling this important story for all America to take heed of those loved ones in their lives. I am especially begging the mentally ill to seek help before calling it quits in life. I wrote this book, hoping the vivid details of my ongoing struggles with mental illness and homelessness will help those in need.
