Morning Night: Poems on Spirit, Race, and Nature

Welcome to Morning Night, Dr. Larry Ward’s first poetry collection.

This book emerged from his thirty years of teaching mindfulness and focuses on the themes of spirit, race, and nature with the aim of lifting our sights. It has been washed in holy tears and the joys of many hearts.

We invite you to explore Larry’s poetry that flows from his practice of mindful awareness. In Morning Night, he refers to writing poetry “as a little act of daring” and declares “I will write a poem if my heart can catch one.”
