Cheatin’ In The Next Room

For Andrea, a high school teacher, finding the fulfillment in marriage she has vowed to have since coming to grips with her parents divorce, was easy. Keeping it is the hard part. Her vow is put to the test when her husband, Christopher, a successful sports writer for the Virginian-Pilot newspaper, has an affair. Andrea feels helpless and seeks comfort in the arms of a family friend only adding more wood to the already intense fire. As the heat rises beyond containment, close friendships and family relationships are consumed in the flames. Andrea’s life spins out of control; her husband wants to make things right, her lover doesn’t want to let her go. An affair she could get over, but its too much to bare and all too soon, it was like Mount St. Helens erupting, BOOM! When Andrea found out her husband was Cheatin’ in the next room!
