Delano Squires is the director of the Richard and Helen DeVos Center for Human Flourishing at the Heritage Foundation, where he studies the impact of marriage and family structure on social outcomes.
He is the author of numerous policy papers, op-eds, and essays published by the Institute for Family Studies, Newsweek, National Review, New York Post, Compact, and Blaze Media. His writing on race, faith, and culture has also appeared in Black Enterprise, The Root, TheGrio, World, and Black and Married with Kids.
Squires earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a graduate degree in public policy from George Washington University. He lives in Maryland with his wife and four children.
