Originally published in 1957, White Man, Listen! is comprised of lectures Wright delivered in Europe. Wright has much of merit to say about psychology of the world’s darker peoples. Awareness of this psychology on the part of Western diplomats and newspapermen should make for the reporting of less nonsense than has been true in the past.
