Ta-Nehisi Coates Publishes With Oldest Black Owned Publisher

Paul Coates, founder of Black Classic Press, announces that his son Ta-Nehisi Coates will publish the French edition of WE WERE EIGHT YEARS IN POWER: https://aalbc.com/books/bookinfo.php?isbn13=9782321013617 with Présence Africaine Editions, the world's oldest Black owned publishing company.

This action continues the tradition of powerful authors supporting independent publishers, an effort led by writers like Walter Mosley who gave Black Classic Press the opportunity to publish GONE FISHING, a generation earlier.
