Biography of Aklilu Kidanu Woldegiorgis
Aklilu Kidanu Woldegiorgis was born in Asebe Teferi, Ethiopia, and was raised in Gore and Addis Ababa. After finishing his undergraduate degree at Addis Ababa University in 1977, he traveled to the United States to pursue graduate studies. In 1992 he returned to Ethiopia and taught at Addis Ababa University for four years. He then founded a center and was engaged in public health research in Ethiopia for the next 20 years. He is an author of books including Country Roads, and two other books in Amharic.
