Akwaeke Emezi
Biography
Akwaeke Emezi, orn on June 6, 1987, is an Igbo and Tamil writer and filmmaker based in liminal spaces, born in Umuahia, and raised in Aba, Nigeria.
Emezi holds two degrees, including an MPA from New York University. Emezi’s writing has been published by Dazed Magazine, The Cut, Buzzfeed, Granta Online, Vogue.com, Commonwealth Writers, and others.
