Anika Noni Rose
Biography
Anika Noni Rose is a Tony Award winner and the voice of Disney’s Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog. An avid reader since childhood, she is a big proponent of children’s literacy and started a series on her IGTV during the Covid lockdown called Bedtime Stories for the Littles. She has contributed to American Theatre magazine and to the anthology Meeting at the Table: African-American Women Write on Race, Culture, and Community.
She has performed all over the world, including singing at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Vatican. In 2011, Anika Noni Rose was the youngest person to be named a Disney Legend and is beyond thrilled to be contributing to Princess Tiana’s legacy in this way.
