Daryl Cumber Dance
Biography
Dr. Daryl Cumber Dance is Professor of English at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond. She obtained a Ph D from the University of Virginia. She is the recipient of Ford Foundation Fellowships and a Fulbright research grant. She is the author of numerous works including Shuckin’ and Jivin’ and Long Gone.
