Dr. David Washington is a veteran of the U.S. Army, an Amazon bestseller, and an award-winning author. He is a winner of the International Book Awards, New York Book Festival, Los Angeles Book Festival, and San Francisco Book Festival.
He holds an MBA from Webster University, an MSA from Central Michigan University, and a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University. Additionally, he is a licensed attorney with a law degree from California Southern University.
His decision to write a graphic novel stemmed from his dissatisfaction with the lack of diversity in the superhero genre. He hoped to provide his children with stories featuring diverse faces, experiences, and perspectives.
