Delia Mercado

Delia Mercado is a wife, a mother of three, and an Entrepreneur licensed by the New York State of Children and Family Services from August 2004 to Present. In her spare time she enjoys reading, writing journals, traveling dancing, and spending quality time with her family.

Mercado is [spring 2019] a student at Medgar Evers College where she has completed her Associate in Arts Degree. She is currently a candidate for the Bachelor Degree in English with a concentration in Cross Cultural Literature. Her experience at MEC has heightened her eagerness to learn from others, grow as an individual, and aspire to become an author. Delia looks forward to becoming an English literature teacher in the near future and then continue her studies to obtain her master degree in Literature. This educational journey has been a struggle, but with the support of her family, she is determined to accomplish her dreams and her education.

Delia Mercado is also AALBC Intern for her spring 2019 semester at Medgar Evers College, which is part of the City University of New York.
