Ellen Oh
Biography
Ellen Oh is a Korean American children’s and young adult author whose work spans middle grade, fantasy, and speculative fiction. A former lawyer and college instructor, she left those careers to focus on writing.
She is also a founding member of We Need Diverse Books (WNDB), a nonprofit dedicated to increasing diversity in children’s literature.
Oh grew up in New York City, primarily in Brooklyn, and now lives in Rockville, Maryland, with her family and two dogs(Photo: Copyright Susie James Photography).
