“I write romantic suspense with marvelously mature heroines and heroes—folk with a little gray at the temple and a little fullness in places that used to be flat. I have always been an avid reader, and I love happy endings. When I couldn’t find romances with heroines my age, or conflicts I couldn’t solve quickly or avoid altogether, I began to write to entertain myself. I am gratified that other readers are entertained by my stories, too. Folk my age have different issues than when we were in our 20’s, but we still have a need for romance in our lives.” Evelyn Palfrey
