Georgia Douglas Johnson

Georgia Blanche Douglas Camp Johnson was born September 10, 1880 and is better known as Georgia Douglas Johnson. She is a poet and one of the earliest African-American female playwrights. She was also and an important participant in the Harlem Renaissance. She died on May 15, 1966 in she died in Washington, D.C.
