Hill Harper

Hill Harper is an actor and author.

Harper was born in Iowa City, Iowa, his father was a psychiatrist, and his mother was one of the first black practicing anesthesiologists in the United States. Harper graduated from Brown University and has a J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School. In addition, he also received a Masters of Public Administration degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Although Harper earned three Ivy League degrees, he decided to pursue acting.

He is the founder of the Manifest Your Destiny Foundation (MYD).
