Jacqueline Jones (born June 17 1948) iis the Walter Prescott Webb Chair in History and Ideas and the Mastin Gentry White Professor of Southern History at the University of Texas at Austin. The author of Saving Savannah, American Work, and The Dispossessed, she lives in Austin, Texas.
