Juanita Havill
Biography
Juanita Havill is the author of more than thirty books for children, including Grow; I Heard it From Alice Zucchini; Jamaica’s Find (Reading Rainbow Review Book, IRA-CBC Children’s Choice, and the Ezra Jack Keats New Writer Award); Jamaica Tag-Along (American Bookseller Pick of the Lists); and Sato and the Elephants (NCSS Notable Trade Book for Young People).
She was born in 1949 in Evansville, Indiana and raised in Mount Carmel, Illinois. She is currently living in Arizona.
