Lauren Lacey is an indie Romance author and avid reader with an extensive background in Digital Strategy and Operations, having digitally optimized some of the largest brands and companies around the world, including presently serving as the Global Web Experience Manager for one of the “Big 4,” PwC. Prior to PwC, she was the Marketing lead for the Mastercard Gift Cards and AMEX Gift Cards, as well as the Digital mind behind one of the largest Tech events (110k attendees) in the world, MWC Barcelona, in which she forged lasting relationships that helped catapult her dreams of launching her former company, black-owned business directory and marketing services for small BIPOC-owned businesses, Urban Business Directory. Within one year, Urban Business Directory served as the Marketing partner for over 125 entrepreneurs and small businesses. In 2021, Lacey was a part of the Forbes 2021 Next 1000, a curated selection of vetted entrepreneurs and professionals who transform lives and seek to make great impacts for change.
Lauren is also the founder of Black Romance Book Fest, which launched in 2025.
