Lisa Springer

Lisa Springer is a writer from Barbados currently living in New York with her family. She is passionate about writing thrillers and horror fiction for young people.

Her novels for young people include:

• Her debut young adult novel, There’s No Way I’d Die First with Delacorte Press, was named a Kids’ Indie Next pick by the American Booksellers Association and featured on NPR’s Books We Love list for 2023.
• Her debut middle grade, The Other Side of Imani with HarperCollins, was named a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection and received a starred review from Shelf Awareness.

When not writing, she’s probably reading, dreaming about the beach, or plotting her next dark and twisty novel.
