Biography

Margo Jefferson was Born on October 17, 1947, in Chicago, IL. She won a Pulitzer Prize for criticism in 1995. She was also theater and book critic for Newsweek and The New York Times. Her writing has appeared in, among other publications, Vogue, New York magazine, and The New Republic. She is a professor of writing at Columbia University School of the Arts, in New York City.

Margo’s cousin is author, Roland S. Jefferson.
