Biography

Rudolph Elliot Willis brings a deep, personal perspective to his writing, drawing from his own experiences growing up in Chicago—in Cabrini-Green. He performed his undergraduate studies at Northwestern University and earned his MD degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He held a fellowship at the National Cancer Institute and then became a research associate in the Laboratory of Tumor Cell Biology.

Rudolph Elliot Willis is an oncologist and internal medicine specialist with over three decades of experience in clinical oncology, cancer research, and molecular biology. Dr. Willis founded Oncova Biosciences, an AI-based biotech cancer drug discovery company. He is an attending physician at the University of Maryland Medical System.
