Schneider K. Rancy

Schneider K. Rancy is a Haitian-American writer from South Florida. He is the author of the poetry collections Dreams of Diaspora and Self-Portrait in Hospital as Camus, as well as the novel Beyond the Baths of Stars, published by Amistad Books.

His poetry has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and published in Callaloo, Columbia Journal, Apogee, Moko Magazine, Sargasso, and elsewhere. In addition to his literary work, Rancy is a surgeon.

A graduate of Columbia University and previously based in New York, Rancy lives and works in San Francisco.
