Biography of Shasta Clinch
Shasta Clinch is a freelance copy editor and proofreader with nearly two decades of experience in the publishing industry. Shasta started her career as a managing editor in children’s publishing, where she acted as a liaison between all departments and sharpened her multitasking superpowers. Ten years later, she pivoted to freelance work, combing through middle grade books, young adult novels, adult fiction and nonfiction, and everything in between.She loves to read and sometimes even finds time to write! Shasta’s first book came out in 2021, three more published in 2024. When she’s not writing, reading, or editing, she’s fostering a love of books in her two children.
