Biography of Will Packer
Will Packer (born April 11, 1974) is one of Hollywood’s most influential filmmakers, with films like Girls Trip, Night School, and Ride Along collectively grossing over $1 billion worldwide. Notably, ten of his films have opened at number one at the box office. He has received Emmy nominations, including for producing the first all-Black producing team for the Academy Awards.
Packer’s productions span blockbuster films, hit TV shows, and innovative digital content. Highlights include Straight Outta Compton, Stomp the Yard, and The Photograph. His company, Will Packer Media, creates acclaimed scripted and unscripted series, podcasts like Fight Night and The Lower Bottoms, and popular shows such as Ready to Love (OWN) and Queens Court (Peacock).
