Demetria L. Lucas (aka “Belle”) is the author of A Belle in Brooklyn: The Go-to Girl for Advice on Living Your Best Single Life, creator of the award-winning blog ABelleinBrooklyn.com and the founder of Coached By Belle, where she uses her training as a certified life coach to help her clients improve their love lives. Lucas was a contributing editor at The Root.com where she penned a weekly advice column “Ask Demetria” and the break-out star of Bravo TV’s hit show “Blood, Sweat & Heels.” She was formerly the Relationships Editor at Essence magazine.
