Biography
Dorothy A. Brown is the Martin D. Ginsburg Chair in Taxation at Georgetown University Law Center and one of the nation’s leading scholars on race, class, and tax policy. She authored the acclaimed book The Whiteness of Wealth: How the Tax System Impoverishes Black Americans – and How We Can Fix It (2021). A native of the South Bronx, Brown frequently appears on major media outlets and has been recognized for her efforts to reform America’s tax system to create equity for all citizens.
