In plotting I KNOW WHO HOLDS TO MORROW (reissue November 2012), I asked a question: would you raise the infant daughter of your deceased husband as your own. I learned of fathers who had "another family." I thought what kind of man did that and, what kind of woman let him.

In I KNOW WHO HOLDS TOMORROW, Madison Reed’s husband asks her to raise his child moments before he dies. Another man in the book bragged about his “bastards” he’d never claim. I wondered about those unwanted children and how this affected their lives.

The answer begins in When Morning Comes (06/05/12). Placed for adoption the day he was born, Dr. Cade Mathis is a successful neurosurgeon, but his childhood scars run deep. He doesn’t expect an encounter to lead him to the family he’s been searching for and a love he never expected.

"When Morning Comes is an entertaining and touching tale about family secrets and the power of love and forgiveness."
