Hans Massaquoi, a former managing editor of Ebony magazine and author of a memoir chronicling his unusual childhood in Germany, has died. He was 87.
According to recent media reports, his son said he had died last Saturday, January 19, on his 87th birthday, in Jacksonville, Florida.
