Oyehmi T. Begho has over 13 years experience in the education sector as both a teacher and a consultant. He is highly knowledgeable in the field of emerging technologies (open source and proprietary) particularly in the use of on-line web applications within educational institutes and also their impact on learning both formally and informally. Begho holds a BSc. in Computer Science and a Masters in the use of ICT in Education. He is an ex-teacher and IT Consultant, passionate about children, education and life-long learning.
He has won numerous awards, such as the Etisalat Award for Innovation and the AR-CSR Sustainable Solutions Showcase, for his contribution and ideas supporting education and helping to bridge the digital and literacy divide.
He is currently the Creative Director at Evolution Media Lab, creator of the Obi and Titi Series, an endeavour, close to the creator’s heart, that challenges the growing cultural divide and he hopes it will give all children a better understanding of Africa, its people, culture and history.
